Corrosion to concrete sumps is often a major problem in industrial facilities. There are several options such as spray-on coatings or non-attached liners but these can often detach or delaminate from the surface of the concrete over time. Severe corrosion to the concrete can then occur under the liner and cause groundwater contamination with hazardous waste. The solution to these problems is integrally extruded anchors on the back of ACROLINE Concrete Protection Liners. These anchors mechanically lock the prefabricated thermoplastic sheeting into the substrate. The ACROLINE liners provide a chemically resistant leak-tight barrier to contain environmentally hazardous materials or to protect concrete structures. Within its limitations, this mechanical anchoring enables the liner to resist delamination from groundwater backpressure in below-grade trenches and sumps. Grating ledges and pipe stub-outs can be integrally fabricated into liner systems.

Calorplast USA is a certified fabricator and installer of ACROLINE Concrete Protection Liners. These Liners are available in four different thermoplastic polymers. They are available in a variety of thicknesses. They can handle a wide variety of chemicals and temperatures. Sections of the Lining can be prepared in the Calorplast USA shop and prepared for final installing at the customer’s facility. This minimized downtime which is often critical. The final field welding of the extruded sheets is performed by Calorplast USA onsite. Additionally, the dual-wall ACROLINE System provides integral secondary containment and leak monitoring capability. Consult Calorplast USA for application assistance.
